Nutrigenomics testing and interpretation
What is Nutrigenomics?
Nutrigenomics is the study of how our genes interact with the food we eat and how nutrients affect gene expression. With Nutrigenomics testing, we can analyse specific genes related to nutrient metabolism, detoxification, hormones, nervous system, methylation, metabolic function and other key areas of health to gain insights into how diet and lifestyle choices may impact our health.
Through this service, we can provide personalised recommendations for dietary changes, lifestyle modifications, and targeted supplement protocols based on the individual's genetic profile. This allows for a more individualised and precise approach to healthcare that can help optimise health outcomes and prevent chronic diseases.
How do I get started?
Getting started is easy!
You will be asked to complete some forms to give us an understanding of your history, any diagnosed medical conditions, any symptoms and your health goals. You will then be sent a kit in the post to enable you to provide a DNA sample through a simple cheek swab test. We agree in advance which genetic panels would be most beneficial and meaningful according to your health issues and goals. The sample is then analysed by Lifecode Gx, a certified laboratory, and the results are interpreted by one of the team.
We will provide you with a comprehensive report of your genetic profile, along with tailored recommendations for diet and lifestyle modifications to help you optimise your health outcomes.
Who can benefit from Nutrigenomics testing?
